XML, extensible markup language, is a type of computer language that allows software programs to communicate information with little to no human interaction. This approach allows building designers to focus on what they want to do most - design beautiful, environmentally responsible buildings that use intelligent technologies to meet their client's needs at the lowest cost possible. Helping realize the promise of Building Information Modeling, gbXML allows intelligent solutions for the design, certification, operation, maintenance, and recycling of buildings.

hi, i want to ask about how to import and export gbXML, i already follow the tutorials instruction but i cant get the space engineering calculate data such air flow calculation result, cooling load and heating load. can u show me the way how to do it successfully ?
ReplyDeleteDesignbuilder Software (www.designbuilder.com) can also import gbXML file..
ReplyDeleteBut if you really want to get gbXML information to work with more specialized tools, like for Computational Fluid Dynamics applications, then only recently has a tool come to make the bridge. It is gbXML2STL (www.bluecape.com.pt/gbXML2STL) and it exports the building geometries contained in gbXML to STL.
